The first one is called Pull to Disable alarms
In your alarms in your clock app if you have enabled alarms when you swipe up it will disable them they will still be there but kind of on snooze. You will see the on/off switch change.
The second one is called BannerSwipe
When a notification banner pops up and your in a game or something and it bothers you, well BannerSwipe allows you to swipe it away with one finger so it does not get in your way.
